The most romantic day of the year is fast approaching and we’re back in lockdown 3.0. Granted we were hoping for a candlelit dinner at our fave fancy restaurant but as that’s not on the cards we’ve gathered some ideas to make your lockdown Valentine’s Day one to remember.
And if you’re flying solo this year, these are all gorgeous things to do by yourself or with a pal. Remember, self-love is where it’s at.If you can’t be near your partner these activities can all be done via Facetime or Zoom too. Remember lockdown won’t last forever, look at holidays and experiences and plan things you want to do in the future – we all need things to look forward to!

Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday this year, perfect for a lazy romantic breakfast. Heart-shaped pancakes stacked high with syrup and berries are a surefire winner!

Restaurants and bars may have pulled their shutters down, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wine and dine your sweetheart at home. Look at your local restaurants for a luxurious takeaway or a meal kit to impress your other half.

Create a super comfy cinema experience at home. Set up your living room as a movie theatre, add fairy lights and go all out with your other half’s favourite snacks, popcorn, nachos and pick n mix.

GO STARGAZING
Enjoy an evening under the stars. Get out some blankets and snuggle under the winter sky. Light your fire pit or BBQ, toast some marshmallows and pour some fizz. If it’s possible, find some fairy lights to make it all twinkly and even more romantic.
