The “Flawless Flick” Competition!

Achieving the right eyeliner swoosh shape and flick can be tricky! Here at Flawless, we believe we have mastered the art of the eyeliner flick.

We’ve all heard the phrase “eyebrows should be sisters, not twins” well, the same goes for your eyeliner. It’s impossible to make the liner on each eye look identical – but it’s possible to get close to it! So, if your eyeliner flicks look more like friends than sisters, here’s our advice on achieving a “Flawless” flick.

Step 1

Begin your look with a simple (or glamorous) eyeshadow base to compliment your eyeliner. Then, sketch out the liner by drawing a line from the outer corner of the eye, following the curve of the lower lash line.

Step 2

Once you’ve completed this, draw a line all the way across the upper eyelid, from the tear duct to the outer edge of the lower line (previous step). It helps if you gently pull the eye from the corner in order to flatten the skin. This ensures the liner goes on smoothly.

Step 3

Then, fill in the gaps between the outer point of the liner and the lash line. Make sure that you don’t leave any empty spaces!

Step 4

You’re almost there! Now all you need to do is add the finishing touches to your look. Add a dab of highlight to the inner corners of your eyes, make the flick thicker to take you from daytime to evening, or finish with a pair of false lashes for a glamorous red carpet ready eye look.
