How To Give Your Mum The Best Lockdown Mother’s Day (Even If You Can’t See Her)
Whether we can see our mums in person or not this year, Mother’s Day 2021 is a chance to celebrate everything she does for us. Even on lockdown, there are plenty of ways to make her feel extra-special. And following a whole year of restrictions which have put extra pressures on mums of all ages, we think it’s even more important to push the boat out this year.
There are lots of treats you can have delivered direct to her door including cards, flowers, chocolate and candles. But a little thought means a lot, and any way you can make your gift more personal will remind your mum just how much she means to you.
Bake and Send Treats
There’s nothing more thoughtful than home baked goodies to show someone how much you care. If you live near your mum, you can bake and deliver her favourite cake direct to her doorstep. And if your mum lives further away, chocolate brownies will survive the post. Just make sure to bake, wrap well and post all on the same day so they arrive fresh, with a handwritten card.

Look at all those snaps you have on your phone of you and your mum over the years. Have you ever printed any? Not being able to see each other reminds us just how important old photographs and treasured memories really are. Here at Flawless we love an afternoon tea, and there are lots of gorgeous hampers to choose from this year. Supermarkets and department stores have a great selection and you may find local bakers providing delivery services during lockdown. Just make sure you have all the components: finger sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea and a bottle of fizz!
