This last year has been a period of reflection for most business owners I am sure, and with International Women’s Day upon us I felt it timely to reflect on why I started Flawless and my motivations as they are still a huge reason, I continue to develop the business and brand. This is as important to me now as it was day one.
Flawless to me represents being a strong, self-assured woman. Empowerment and confidence are words I use not only with regards to, Flawless but in my everyday life. My career started in a male dominated workplace and it became apparent to me how many women were not encouraged or pushed to excel and therefore often find themselves in situations where a lack of confidence, financial independence, to name a few makes life not kind to them.
I wanted Flawless to contribute to changing this and offer a place for women to learn, achieve and aspire to reaching their goals. I have endeavoured to build an environment where women feel empowered and confident enough to be successful and independent. Success that is measured by what it is to them not others.
I have a female dominated work force and have over the last 16 years watched many women grow and flourish, this also works for our customers and the creation of our various products and packages reflect this. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing that customer transformation and the realisation of the beauty each and every woman possess.
Our work with pageants and the promotion of recent #bareface CHALLENGE with Miss England reflects natural beauty is as important to empowerment and the choice of having a Flawless Makeover is about you bringing out your inner self to support you in demonstrating how beautiful you are regardless. Giving you the confidence to be you!
